About Me

I have always been involved with arts and crafts, and discovering the art of beaded earrings gave me a new creative outlet.

My first endeavor at making a business from my crafts was when a friend and I decided to try our hand at selling in a craft show at our local mall. That hooked me on craft shows. I stayed with ceramics for several years, selling at many craft shows, local gift shops and remote consignment gift shops.

When I was in a car accident in 1992, I hit my head and that affected my ability to do detail painting. My son, who later on took over my ceramic business, suggested that I try selling stained glass at the shows and he would set up with me selling ceramics. I had learned stained glass back in the late 70's. I took a refresher course and went to work accumulating enough pieces to do a show.

In 1997, my husband and I moved to Florida. By then the craft shows had dwindled down to almost nothing, but I still had a few remote shops to sell in. When all of those shops closed, I was able to consign to a local gift shop that had just opened.

When I came upon a pattern book of beaded earrings I knew that I had to learn how to make them. I use some regular seed beads, but mostly I create the earrings using delica beads which are very small.

I want to thank you for visiting my site and hope you will find earrings that will suit your taste. Please bookmark my site and return soon.
